US forces protected more than one billion barrels of crude oil traveling through the Strait of Hormuz "in the last couple of months," US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a weekend social media post. The narrow Gulf channel has been at the center of the war with Iran, approaching its seventh month, as it handles about one-fifth of global oil supplies. President Trump posted a poll on Truth Social, asking his followers for their opinions on renaming artificial intelligence, or AI. According to the president, the current technology's name is "inaccurate." “Many people think that the words ‘Artificial Intelligence’ are inaccurate, and very ineloquent, relative to AI, or Artificial Intelligence,” he said. The president proposed "extreme intelligence," "superior intelligence," and "supreme intelligence."
Trump to Meet with Venezuela's Interim President
At next week's United Nations General Assembly in New York, President Trump will meet with Venezuela's interim President Delcy Rodríguez, the White House confirmed. This will be the first in-person meeting between Trump and Rodríguez since US forces ousted former President Nicolas Maduro in January. The meeting will take place on the sidelines of a reception that Trump will host.

It also requires parents of foreign students facing serious difficulties integrating into the school system to learn Italian and bans burqas and niqabs in schools,’ Meloni told an annual gathering of the youth wing of her Brothers of Italy party,” the wire service details. “Meloni did not specify what the maximum number of foreign students per class would be. Students who are not Italian citizens account for 11.6% of those enrolled in Italian schools – nearly 12 in every 100 students – according to Fondazione ISMU, a research institution.”
